Progress Update of Magazine Front Covers

So far I have started to begin 'mocking up' front covers, mainly to position images to see which suits the brand image I want to present.

This image works quite well because the background is plain and there isn't too much going on in the image meaning that the straplines and coverlines wouldn't interrupt the image. They can additionally add colour to the cover by using tones from the clothing the model wears, to then create an eye-pleasing front cover.
For example, picking out the oranges and black from the top to tie the coverline/strapline would make the cover more appealing and "put together"

I found that this background was too chaotic in adherence to creating straplines because it was too 'busy'.
Even though the bamboo background would fit with the issue to sustainability as green is an associated colour with sustainability. Again, I tried to pick out the colours from the dress to tie the magazine together. I will therefore use this image in my contents page or on my website.
