For my magazine, I would like to focus on fashion and beauty with surrounding influence of eco-'friendliness' and societal shifts. The target audience of 16-25 year olds will note a feature of models and familiar topics to their generation. The magazine will successfully meet the brief by presenting the lifestyle of the 'modified' teenager - being that due to recent shifts in social beliefs and representations within society.
In recent years, the views within society are continuously shifting and progressing. The main influence of this is due to the generation of current teenager which have the access to produce views and share them online across media platforms which enhances others views. Collectively it can be seen that advancements in the way that fashion is viewed has seen a shift towards sustainable fashion and eco-friendly fashion with the conscious awareness of how fashion has/is impacting the planet. Also, continuous movements has magnified the way women are received in the media. Natural beauty is the pinnacle of realism which looking back to previous years has advanced to show the sheer beauty of uniqueness and variety within different people.
To be able to create a successful finalised product I will carry out many shoots with a variety of models of different social groups, backgrounds and identities which will subsequently broaden the content of the products that aids to reach a wide audience. Natural scenery such as woodlands, beaches, and fields that will add to the neutral undertones and realism I wish to convey through my pieces.
For both, the contents page will adhere to convention of stereotypical lifestyle magazines by featuring topical issues as well as soft news. I would want to keep the layout extremely clean and sleek so that information can be received well and easily for audiences. Also, the clean 'look' makes it feel almost authentic and prestigious which is how I want to portray my magazine to the audience.
MAGAZINE 1
The leading magazine cover and contents page will be based on highlighting the unique, quirky and eccentric positioning of women of today. Focusing on more eye-catching positioning it will attract an audiences attention - standing out from the rest. Posing with tongues out or unusual angling to subvert stereotypes of magazine photoshoots. The angles and posing are the pinpoint that highlight the talent behind the editing and final product. Also, they highlight the way that the creator wants the product to be received.

MAGAZINE 2
For my exclusive print edition of the magazine, this second magazine will be a feature special of the other. Meaning that I want to subvert the generic conventions of the magazines predictable female model and honour influence of Harry Style's vogue front cover. This cover, published on the 24th of November 2020, was the first solo male vogue cover which instantly became eye catching to audiences around the world.This stark movement produced by Vogue subverts the stereotypes of their typical attractive female model as the front cover. Over recent years, it can be noted that throughout the pandemic and post that magazines have created a vast amount of unique and different content in comparison to the previous years. During this tie, movement advancements such as feminist movements, LGBTQ+ movements, black lives matter movements and peace movements (etc), has caused magazines to present and reflect their genuine views on these events in hopes of gaining a similar view from audiences.
The front cover will be heavily fashioned based with a gay male model. Cover lines and tags will feature stories surrounding LGBTQ+ to uphold the representations of this special issue. Again, to fit the theme of the previous leading front cover, the posing and colouring will be bold to draw attention to the product. The featuring magazine conventions such as masthead, puff (etc), will be simplistic and minimal to fully enhance the main image and not detract from the photography.
